gttexas: We found a good, quiet spot to read out on the stern deck. Just inside was usually pretty good also. The ship is about half-way between Vancouver and Ketchikan.

gttexas: At Skagway there had been a landslide just beside the pier near the cliff with all the ship's grafitti on it. As a result tenders were used to transport passengers from the ship into town. The wind was blowing like crazy and we elected to stay aboard.
gttexas: For years we've seen the cliff next to the pier and its grafitti from a multitude of ships.
gttexas: From the ship's top deck you can see the town of Skagway and the ship's tender (orange near the center of the picture) used to take passengers into town.
