Part of Clandon House Estate, a 1000 acre estate at the foot of the North Downs, owned by the Onslow family for centuries. The house is managed by the National Trust. Devastated to a gutted shell by a fire nearly nine years ago, it is still being repaired

On this green by the River Wey in Guildford, Surrey, are statues of "Alice and the White Rabbit." This is to commemorate the town's link to Lewis Carroll. He bought a house for his sisters near Guildford Castle and stayed there during the summer months.
