Another hidden parking/camping site. What looks like a mountain pass behind me ends in a steep cliff, so I wasn't worried about anyone coming that way.

All they stuff I carry in my Jeep JK on an every day basis. Always ready to go off road or stay a night or two. I can still fit 3 passengers and groceries. The stock JK can carry a lot if you use every bit of space well and add saddle bags.

This, plus a pillow, is the extent of my sleeping arrangements. No need for an expensive rooftop tent. A cheap military style cot will do.

Another hiding spot. Again, a dune provides concealment for most angles, the rocky ridge I'm standing on covers me from the rear. you have to approach the spot using low points as much as possible to avoid super obvious tracks.

Crescent dunes make good hiding spots for vehicles and campsites in the desert. I'm facing the most likely direction of approach and am standing on a rocky ridge that blocks a view from the rear. As long as you use no light at night a spot like this is
