Ms. Hamby reads the thank-yous from the first few kids in class. We walked to her room to deliver in person!
Laura Gilchrist:
These 3 ladies created a thank you together! They were proud and Mrs. Hamby loved it.
Laura Gilchrist:
Chicken legs in salt might smell a bit...!
Laura Gilchrist:
Mummification. Salting up the chicken legs for more drying!
Laura Gilchrist:
Dessicated 'pet' chicken legs! Mummifying them. The kids couldn't believe the chunky salt and the small and hard chicken legs. What a difference some salt makes.
Laura Gilchrist:
Cow eyes. Dissection. Scientists. Investigators.
Laura Gilchrist:
Oh the faces. :) Cow eyes in hand...
Laura Gilchrist:
Cow eyes!
Laura Gilchrist:
Lift the flap (cornea) to the iris, lens, and vitreous...and the retina below. :)
Laura Gilchrist:
Investigators with enthusiasm.
Laura Gilchrist:
Cow Eye. Dissection. Go big or go home? Definitely the latter for these two. They made it through the dissection and can say they did it! :) LOL

17/365 Friendly #edugood. Our class walked to Mrs. Hamby's room to deliver their thank yous in person. Many were letters or artistic letters on paper; others were on the iPad in iMovie and Keynote. They showed Mrs. Hamby on the iPad. :)
