This, and citric acid is all it takes to dye wool in the microwave.

The dye was so deep blue, that you couldn't see the hat when it was put into the solution. This is about 1/2 way through the process.

This is toward the end, the alpaca has soaked up nearly all of the food coloring, along with the citric acid, to lock the color in.
