XN-976. Crashed into the North Sea, Fife during a four aircraft simulated ship attack. With the aircraft at 100ft and in a left turn the crew would not have had time to eject and were both killed.Many thanks to Marinus Dirk Tabak

ZD324 / B. Suffered engine failure (high JPT indication) while on approach to Wittering on return from a detachment to Coningsby. The 3 Squadron pilot ejected safely at 600 ft and the aircraft crashed into woodlands.

WV318. When put up for disposal she was one of the last Hunters to serve with the RAF and just before she was retired she was painted black along with the other three Hunters at Lossiemouth to commemorate 40 years of the type.
