This T-38, NASA 514, was used at Langley. It flew noise research missions, and was used as an "adversary" aircraft against the XV-6A Kestrel-forerunner of the V/STOL Harrier tactical jet.

N4416T (USAF serial 82-062). Also known as the F-5G it was a vastly improved version of the F-5E Tiger II. Only three were build. Crashed at Suwon AB, South Korea Oct 10, 1984. Pilot killed.
