Gavski:
The symbol for the Virtual Sacred Space offshoot of my project... rendered as stained glass
Gavski:
Personal Shrine with various Symbolacrum pieces, made following the Colour & Meaning process, with an iPad running a 478 mediation on the Symbolacrum App in Virtual Sacred Space.
Gavski:
Examples of the possibilities presented by the intersection of the hand painted and 3D printed aspects of the full vision.
Gavski:
Ive been creating new ways of utilising Blender as a tool for developing radial symmetry, concentric rhythms of pattern...
Gavski:
And re-interpreting traditional devices like the Taijitu or yin/yang, in this case inspired by the Balinese Lotus motif. Could spend a whole art lifetime exploring the infinite number of ways this one symbol could be imagined.
Gavski:
478 Mandala. A guide to keep time for this breath cycle meditation. Breathe in for a count of 4 seconds, hold for 7, Exhale for 8. Repeat.
Gavski:
478 Mandala. Virtual and In Real Life... thanks to the miracle of 3D print technology... I can make a mould from this and then cast them in a range of different materials
Gavski:
I like the idea of a mandala that recesses into the wall. The figure is actually an empty cutout opening into a hemispherical cavity lined with a backlit transparency of stars and galaxies.
Gavski:
mockup of the splash screen for the Symbolacrum App that is a longer term part of the grand plan
Gavski:
After I had this Lotus shrine made in Bali, I remade it in 3D so I could create a virtual version of the real thing as you see here.
Gavski:
The virtual Lotus Shrine as it might be... as an interactive immersive experience within the Symbolacrum app.
Gavski:
This is one of many different versions of the colour possibilities once I got it modelled in Blender.
Gavski:
I try to tell everyone to keep their Symbolacrum Symbols simple.. So what does mine look like? It looks like this!!!
