“Dolphins” - all that’s left of the pier head used to load the ships heading for Normandy.

Rolling Track Walls - used to carry the wooden rails which supported the harbours. Behind them is the platform where 6 mulberry harbours were built.

Beach hardening mats, used to strengthen the beach in order to support the tanks and other heavy vehicles being driven on to the landing craft.
