FroggyMonkey: New Year's Eve cast on. Handspun sweater!
FroggyMonkey: Handspun for my sweater yoke.
FroggyMonkey: Handspun '15. Goal was 12 braids (48 oz). I spun the equivalent of 36 1/3 braids!

FroggyMonkey: Ugh! Knew I should've done the citric acid dye set on this, but I've never done it on handspun.

FroggyMonkey: Top two yoke choices for my handspun sweater. Want to at least cast on this year. #handspunsweater2015

FroggyMonkey: Diving into a pile of handspun to pick yoke yarn & yarn for a gift knit.

FroggyMonkey: Plying a little here & there. Disappointed I spun the bfl too thin for my sweater. Hold it doubled maybe? The rain brought in some much needed cooler weather! Handknit socks, jeans & Larch cardi.
FroggyMonkey: Plying my gales art natural bfl & I spun it too thin :( It doesn't match the natural brown from this summer. Grrr!
FroggyMonkey: The mystery ball of fiber from kitm '12 is crap! I had a hard time dividing it into 3 & it kept pulling apart. Started to spin & it's what I would imagine spinning cat hair would be like. Tossing it :(
FroggyMonkey: Ready to ply. After that, I can start my handspun sweater! Which was my big knitting & spinning goal of 2015.
FroggyMonkey: Finished my second braid of natural bfl from gales art for my handspun sweater. Spun a little each night this week. Good stress relief while listening to an audiobook.
FroggyMonkey: Spinning for the first time in probably a month.
FroggyMonkey: Destashing the Hansen.
FroggyMonkey: Finally finished the first 4oz of natural to go with the brown bfl from gales art. #handspunsweater2015
FroggyMonkey: Monkey wants to help.
FroggyMonkey: Ready to skein. So disappointed I ended up getting less than 1,000 yards from 12oz. Took so long to spin and ply too, I was so hopeful I'd get 1,100-1,200.
FroggyMonkey: Plied! 12oz 3ply. Off & on today from 8am to 10pm. My bobbins weren't even though, I have leftovers in two. Hope to get a sweater's worth from it.
