Made a giant mess, but felt good to do some cleaning the past few days. Can actually see the closet floor & I have a big box ready for the humane society thrift store.

After a year of just tossing an old piece of batting across the top to iron, I finally made a proper cover! Old Oh Fransson tutorial. Short sides are great, but long sides are a little floppier than I’d like.

My quilting setup. 2 rickety old folding tables pushed against my desk. It’s not bad, but the quilts always snag on my sewing machine extension platform. I’ve asked D to help modify 1 of the folding tables to drop in my machine.

It’s amazing how much will fit in a 10x10 room, if you don’t mind not being able to move around easily! Assembled 3 of 6 rows for Katie’s quilt before errands and window washing.

Finally cleaned this room after 2 months of neglect and storing junk. Added the plus + wall quilt and moved the pineapple block too.

I'm very fortunate to have this space, but it's still a pain to move things around when I need a design wall...and even that's not big enough for most projects. Really envy people with basement sewing rooms or converted dining rooms.

I love multi-purpose items. I got this candleholder for .80 at Dirt Cheap yesterday (originally from Target) to hold my bobbins. #thrifting #sewing #quilting #organization
