Homemade vegetarian biscuits & gravy. So decadent, but so good & I wasn't starving by 10. Actually kept me full til 2, even with a hot/humid day of painting.

Second batch of paneer & first time making crock pot bread. Yummy!

First time making crock pot bread. D did everything while I finished laundry. A little dense, but still very good. Took about 2.5 hrs on high. Let dough rise 3hrs on the counter beforehand.

After another full day of garage painting we still managed to make black bean patties, avocado hummus & paneer. Seriously yummy! Thanks for the cheese inspiration @knitspinfarm

First time making falafels. Just needed a little more salt. Otherwise, very good. Bought a food processor today too. Hate how loud it is, but great at chopping celery. Had a harder time mixing the falafel ingredients though.

My last Southern Sixer 😩 It's a seasonal & this was the first year for it. Really hope they bring it back and that we can get more.

First snowball of the season! D & my dad stopped on their way back from getting a new ac capacitor from a friend. Nice treat bc my allergy meds were starting to wear off & I was feeling crummy again.

Third afternoon picking wild dewberries & this was the biggest batch yet. Yesterday I barely got a bowl full.

Besides the handful I picked while bike riding to Buccaneer over a week ago, this is the first real batch of dewberries for the year. Slim pickings, most of the good spots have been mowed.

Ran errands. These were on clearance at Froogles, so I got 2. Meh. Kind of bland, might add pumpkin pie spice in the other. Fast, fluffy & easier than the ones I make from scratch though.

Froyo with D & Heather. Didn't realize there was a parade downtown. Luckily it was the end when we arrived. D guessed the weight on his & got it free.

Chopped up leftover jerk shrimp & put it on top of avocado pasta. SO good!

Went to Walmart for background fabric (single girl test block, forgot to get it Friday) & hoping for Girl Scout cookies. No scouts, but read these were just as good. Yes!!! And 1/3 the price! Also got the peanut butter. Yum!

Red velvet birthday cake from Rouse's. Omg, so good! I wanted to do a homemade one, but no time with Ds schedule. This was yummy though, so good we said we'd better not get it too often ;)
