Sometimes being short is a good thing! My pants can fit lengthwise from selvage to selvage. The only yardage I had that would fit the pants and was non-directional. Fwew!

Might be time to give up my favorite pajama bottoms and make a pattern out of them. The ribbon came out of the waistband because it's so worn and frayed along the top edge :-(
