Kimberly quietly gathers her strength at the perfect point of convergence between old and new Seoul, in a place where the symbolic importance of grossly irrelevant Tradition and the vulgar exigencies of modern life come colliding together.

Kimberly Maria Buxton turns modernity and tradition topsy-turvy as this publicity photo for her graduation performance as the first non-"pure" Korean to receive an MFA in traditional Korean dance. As several cliched dualities collide, e.g. East meeting We

More modern hanbok girls, this time in the very newly trendy neighborhood of Gyeongnidan. This is definitely a thing. I think that everyone can agree --more modern hanbok!
