1/20/09, DC: PTTP ~7-9am. At some point, sirened vehicles (ambulance, police, others with no apparent authority) starting pushing through the crowd making their way through the tunnel. They weren't there for anything happening in the tunnel

1/20/09, DC: PTTP, people continue streaming through in the opposite direction. By this time, I've thinking they're not checking tickets anymore - just using the tunnel to get to the other side. ~8-10am.
