dremsen: A bumblebee was hard to get into focus but these Danish ones are so pretty I'll settle for a blurry pic for now.
dremsen: There was an amazing density of these large orb weavers. They covered the walls and bushes and feasted on the insects the steady wind blew off the sound. This one was riding out the wind on a flower head while I waited for things to slow down for a shot
dremsen: Zootoca vivipara
dremsen: These badass little wasps were all over the wood part of the deck. They specialise in capturing flies. It didn't seem to matter what kind so long as they were of the dipterous sort.
dremsen: These wasps seemed to move the fly, which was totally paralysed, around alot. There was at least one other, smaller species, that looked like a much smaller version of this one, that I think might have been a kleptoparasite of this one. I didnt get

dremsen: A grasshopper also took the opportunity to do a bit of sunning on the exposed deck.
dremsen: This looks like some sort of Lynx spider but really I don't know. My eyes are getting so screwed up by age and staring at a computer screen that I wasn't even positive it was a spider till i took the shot and zoomed in on it.
