Hey, I'm headed to Sweden today for 3 weeks! With an luck I'll be rendezvousing with this guy (Eric Freid, BFF from college) at Central Station in Stockholm in about 24 hours. See you guys at the end of May!

about to board bad ass hydrofoil for trip from Tallinn -> Helsinki (then late night ferry to Stockholm)

traded our hydrofoil for a cruise ship - en route from Helsinki to Stockholm. hopefully this ship has fewer escorts than the bars in Tallinn

chilling with luke warm beers in the middle of the Baltic Sea. (the rest of our 30 pack is stashed in a cold locker on the 7th fl - brilliant!)

stocking up for ferry dance party afterhours at the duty free (ps 24 beers = 24 euros = a steal!)

my Tuesday night. boat is more rowdy than expected. next up: all you can eat buffet! ps. (can't believe iPhone works out here)

survived ferry and made it to Stockholm. (4 team cart race around ferry = disaster btw. hungover))

@ vasa museum. sunken Swedish warship from the 1600s that they raised in the 1950s. amazing (and like the last scene from Goonies)

seriously go wilipedia this thing (vasa museum) coolest museum ive ever been to. like five stories tall

public bike rental - you need to swipe a card tho (and not sure where to get them) bikes are nicer than helsinkis free bikes.

crazy caved themed metro station (train is called the "t" btw - just like Boston) all the stations are super designed-up, some like museums

Max = the wendys of Sweden (1000x better than Hessburger which is the shit McDs of Finland)

noble prize museum = kind of cool. Design4Science exhibit with art based on biology noble prize winning research = 90% over my head (mike.d, you'd love this tho)

kulturhuset = free art/studio/gallery/workspace for kids 13 - 25. think ITP on wkds for kids and for free. so super smart (all financed by city)

public skate park in Sodermalm - kid in the blue is killing it over the hip (randy/lisa - is this the park u were talking about?)

stockholm public library (gunnar asplunds') - one big round room. beautiful (tho maybe not the best use of space. :)
