Ants! There were ants all over the area where we were planting, and I was trying my best not to kill any of them, but they kept finding their way into my Crocs. I really did mean to wear my Timberland hiking shoes.

When it's the right depth, you place the sapling in it.

Then, with cutters you remove the base of the plant.
