Desiree Koh: Dion pins on Daniel's bib just minutes before the race starts. He used two safety pins off my back bib.
Desiree Koh: A picture before we go too far off the deep end.
Desiree Koh: Off into the dark we go!
Desiree Koh: It was Balloon Day for this lady. Good for her.
Desiree Koh: I was trying to say something, tongue in cheek.
Desiree Koh: Dion ran into several buddies along the way.
Desiree Koh: Bananas Dion.
Desiree Koh: Powered by jesus dude had fleet feet.
Desiree Koh: The Singapore Flyer. See, so many things in common with The Chi.
Desiree Koh: The sunrise from Nicoll Highway.
Desiree Koh: The Chinese sign says, "Step on it!" Literally, it said, "Add gas!"
Desiree Koh: School band supporters... thanks, kiddos!
Desiree Koh: Dion's first Deep Heat pit stop.
Desiree Koh: At some points during the race, I wished my Shot Blocks were Jello Shots. I am not sure what the crap on my face is. I didn't even know I had crap on my face.
Desiree Koh: These ladies do taichi along the beach every morning, and on this particular morning, they put up a demonstration.
Desiree Koh: Ben, assistant manager at The Lens Men Centrepoint, ran by Mom and Dad first.
Desiree Koh: I mean, I'm down wit runnin, dawg. Look at how low my shorts are sagging from water loss (me) and water retention (shorts). Having an iPod clipped on and Shot Blocks in the back pocket didn't help either. At some point, I just gave up on tugging my shorts
Desiree Koh: I wish we'd taken this shot with Dad's digital camera instead of the cheapo disposable run I toted during the run. This was supposed to be the money shot!
Desiree Koh: We took off as PAPArazzi continued to snap away.
Desiree Koh: More of PAPArazzi's handiwork.
Desiree Koh: We caught up with Ben.
Desiree Koh: More athletic supporters.
Desiree Koh: Meeting the p's for the second time, I somehow got myself tangled up in earphones.
Desiree Koh: Ben got a cramp in his leg and fell back.
Desiree Koh: Dion and his bad knee catching up.
Desiree Koh: Mom sending Dion off.
Desiree Koh: The suffering knee.
Desiree Koh: Not sure why I was still standing.
Desiree Koh: That's more like it.
Desiree Koh: Another marathon? Not this year, no thanks.
