dhpolepole: The view of the Eiger from our room at the Hotel Belvedere
dhpolepole: First Day - Daniel, Katie and Bonnie at the Jungfraujoch
dhpolepole: We walked to the hut at the foot of the Monch where we had lunch.
dhpolepole: Whiteout after lunch as we returned to the Jungfraujoch
dhpolepole: Daniel & Katie in front of the zipline (it's there behind the clouds)
dhpolepole: Bonnie taking a break
dhpolepole: Bonnie, Daniel and I hiked part of the way back while Katie had a job interview on Skype
dhpolepole: Day 2 - We took a cable car then walked to a hut where we had lunch and looked at a glacier. This is Grindelwald from above.
dhpolepole: We hiked under a waterfall of sorts...Notice Katie, the risk taker, on the wrong side of the fence because she didn't want to get her feet wet!
dhpolepole: Waterfall (duh)
dhpolepole: All of the sheep had numbers, painted in red, on them.
dhpolepole: Our lunch spot where we could see the glacier.
dhpolepole: Bonnie loves the sheep!
dhpolepole: Our view of the glacier while we ate lunch. Lunch was interrupted by a downpour and we hiked back in the pouring rain.
dhpolepole: First time I have seen a cigarette machine in decades. Reminded me of the days I used to call on Philip Morris in New York.
dhpolepole: Day 3 - Looking down on a town in a deep valley. We got up there via cable car.
dhpolepole: Big waterfall
dhpolepole: A view you cannot see at home!
dhpolepole: Katie and Daniel near the top.
dhpolepole: At the top!
dhpolepole: Faulhorn, where we wanted to hike later in the week, but the trail was closed because of too much snow.
dhpolepole: My daughter-in-law, the flower child!
dhpolepole: Cable cars are the best way to get high (legally)!
dhpolepole: I love the groomed trails in Switzerland.
dhpolepole: Our goal, where the train station is. We ate lunch (rained again), then took the train back to Grindelwald.
dhpolepole: I took a shortcut that my family deemed too dangerous for them...so I waited for them at the top.
dhpolepole: Katie came first, then Daniel
dhpolepole: Bonnie was not far behind.
dhpolepole: We had rain during dinner....I stepped outside to view this beautiful rainbow. I love rainbows because they remind me of Mother.
dhpolepole: Day 4 - my family in front of the train station
