3/365 - 25 Aug 2016 - Today I found this flag in front of my parents house and inquired about it. "Portugal won this years football championship! We were supporting our team from here!" told me my dad very proud! That's the spirit!

4/365 - 26 Aug 2016 - today was a day to have my nails done. Every time I come to Portugal I pay a visit to Tania and Filipe who pamper me from head to toes. There will be more tomorrow with hair cut and pink highlights, and today is just a first step:)

5/365 - 27 Aug 2016 - having a coffee stop with a "pastel de nata" (custard creme pastry) is one of the mandatory things to experience in Portugal!

6/365 - 28 Aug 2016 - Bread in Portugal is the best bread I ever ate. This one is called "pao de avo" (grandmas bread) from Ilhavo town.

7/365 - 29 Aug 2016 - today was the last "being girly" activity of these holidays at the beautician. One more day and I am back to Ireland and to "being an engineer" reality without all this beauty goodness that in Ireland costs the same as a kidney!

8/365 - 30 Aug 2016 - Last day in Portugal and already missing our old doggie. I hope to see him again next time I come to visit, but with his age and health - every day is a blessing. He is 12 years old and has hip dysplasia.

10/365 - 1 Sept 2016 - Today I was getting ready for my friends wedding and shopping for accessories and cards. Despite realising now my outfit is totally black, I am all set for tomorrow!

12/365 - 3 Sept 2016 - Today was an über shite weather and I spent all day at home organising shoes, clothes and filling in charity shop bags. The challenging journey of separating myself from unnecessary stuff is just starting.

13/365 - 4 Sept 2016 - Today I had an honour to be invited to a naming ceremony of my friends new baby! It is similar to a baptism in Hindu tradition and is made when baby is only 11 days old! Bless you, Urvish.

14/365 - 5 Sept 2016 - Back to work after 2 weeks holidays and back to study until 10 pm at night. A lot to catch up in September and another 6 subjects to finish by Christmas.

16/365 - 8 Sept 2016 - My tomato crops on the balcony. Yesterday I failed on taking daily picture, but instead of abandoning this project I will keep going and post two pictures to compensate.

18/365 - 9 Sept 2016 - Today I went to organ recital with a very good friend. I haven't seen her for a while and after the concert we spent two hours chatting. It was also a day I realised how much some people mean to me and how much I miss them.

20/365 - 11 Sept 2016 - Today was really windy day and we went to one of my favourite places in Ireland: Avoca in Kilmacanogue. This 365 notebook called my attention.

21/365 - 12 Sept 2016 - The other side. I think in terms of watches man have much better deal than woman: more choice of quality watches. I have a weakness for large mechanic self winding watches and most of them are man ones.

22/365 - 13 Sept 2016 - New healthy directives at work: all pastries were replaced with those (little balls of hate) whole grain scones. Jams and crisps - exterminated and replaced with fruit and pop corn. Healthy and pricy. End of the world is coming!
