Craig F: Just waitin for a mate. So, sitting on the back of the truck!
Craig F: TACO TRUCK IS BORN!
Craig F: @shinyredthings did an amazing job fixing my seat today. It doesn't slide back and forth, and there's not a giant foam hole under my ass. Oh, and it has a rad saddle blanket car seat.
Craig F: Shiny and chrome.
Craig F: Damn that's a cool looking carburetor. Edelbrock 4-barrel.
Craig F: Bumper is back on, with a full set of not-rusted bolts from LMC. It looks like a complete truck again!
Craig F: More tiki stuff for the office!
Craig F: Is putting a skull on it the hot rod version of putting a bird on it?
Craig F: Finished working on the truck for the day, time for a beer.
Craig F: Chillin' in my new office
Craig F: It's in! One of the engine mount bolts won't play nice, so it's not buttoned up, but one engine mount and the bell housing bolts up so calling it done for the day.
Craig F: Front of engine, complete. Enough chrome for a War Boy, perhaps.
Craig F: Edelbrock Performer intake manifold installed. This aluminium intake is so much lighter than the stock cast iron one.
Craig F: Making progress. Water pump and harmonic balancer installed.
Craig F: Giant wrench because reasons.
Craig F: Tiki addition to the house
Craig F: That's quite enough work in the heat for one day. Now for some tacos!
Craig F: Good bye, old engine!
Craig F: HAI!
Craig F: Tourist selfie
Craig F: "Three Dots and a Dash" - the classic tiki cocktail that serves as the namesake of the bar.
Craig F: "Dead Reckoning"
Craig F: Tiki style
Craig F: "Jet Pilot"
Craig F: It's like Christmas in July!
Craig F: Look what the Engine Fairy delivered today!
Craig F: Today's project, part three: attach said tachometer to a brand-new HEI connector, so purchased because the PO decided to cut the tach wire on the old one off too short to crimp into. Used black wiring conduit so it looks all professional and shit.
Craig F: Today's project, part two: install a cheap-ass tachometer, attached to the steering column with a hose clamp, so I know how many times a minute the engine is doing its thing.
Craig F: Today's project: wiring up a cheap set of gauges so I know what's going on with my new engine (which arrives tomorrow!)
Craig F: These things are seriously thick. 1963 shop manual + 1964 supplement.
