chrisginottawa: Tapping #10-32 holes in the brass bearing shaft for bearing clamping end caps. The cap screws to the brass shaft, compressing the inner sealed bearing flange.

chrisginottawa: Checking the countersink depth in the bearing end cap. I use a precision ground tool bit to locate the small part square to the chuck face.
