End of butt plate tang broken off, possibly due to same impact that broke stock. Can be repaired. Note cracks in wood at heel, which needed to be repaired too.

#1000 - Stock through bolt' had to be pounded out of hole (crooked?) so head of bolt recuced and back side trued uo, washer also reduced in diameter. Stock bolt hole drilled out to 7/16" diameter so bolt and washer could pass through freely.

#1000 - This barrel wedge and side plate could not be removed because its capture pin couldn't be removed. The side plate was masked off and refinishing was done around it.
