BJL_Hen:
Adam and Tomoko. Here's someone I'm pretty tight with. We went to the same college, worked in the same company, he is responsible for me meeting my kung fu teacher and therefore coming to Taiwan, and I even helped a little bit with a book he wrote.
BJL_Hen:
This wasn't our first stop, CKS Memorial Hall. We hit a few other palces before coming here, like the Jade Market and 101.
BJL_Hen:
Funny what you notice when you are trying to show others what you have seen so many times before.
BJL_Hen:
The lioness guarding The National Palace Museum. How do I know it's a lioness? Because of the cub under her left paw. The National Palace museum is a must see if you ever come to Taiwan.
BJL_Hen:
Here is a shot of the lion guarding the National Palace Museum. How do I know it's a male? Because of the ball under his right paw.
BJL_Hen:
Gates to the National Palace Museum. Too bad the Museum is still being renovated...otherwise I could have gotten some other shots.
BJL_Hen:
It was a little cool that day...well cool for Taiwan...so I was a little surprised to see a wasp out in the flowers.
BJL_Hen:
And a flower in bloom. Thanks to Tomoko for holding the flower while the wind blew things about.
BJL_Hen:
Of course people still do...but the park officers have at least removed the food dispensers.
BJL_Hen:
I thought that was a little odd...but then again I guess they will try anything when they are like this.
BJL_Hen:
Everywhere I go I always try to get a few pictures of the local flowers for my mom and grandmother.
BJL_Hen:
I use to train right beside this memorial when I first came to Taiwan. Two hours a day, 6 days a week.
