BJL_Hen: OKay so I just got back from a visit from Canada. Here's Jordan (Jordy to those who know him).
BJL_Hen: Jordy loves to ham it up. Here he is sitting on my Godfather's lap.
BJL_Hen: He's really smart and a huge baby.
BJL_Hen: Aunt Reta refused to let me take her picture...I'll get one of her yet.
BJL_Hen: Sunset over Lake Ontario. Holy crow is was a little nippy down on the lakeshore.
BJL_Hen: But the sunset was really beautiful...
BJL_Hen: Once I got moving about a bit it was okay though. I was helping my mom measure a sailboat at the time.
BJL_Hen: Old family picture...Great uncle Fred is sitting on the thrasher's wheel.
BJL_Hen: Here's me and grandpa sitting still for grandma
BJL_Hen: Took her a bit to get use to my camera...
BJL_Hen: And here's grandma giving grandpa hell...
BJL_Hen: There we go now everyone is sitting ready for the picture...
BJL_Hen: Of course grandma had her picture with me too. Grandpa just took the camera and fired. He knew what he was doing.
BJL_Hen: I stopped in at my cousin Diane's house to see her son Christopher.
BJL_Hen: He wasn't too pleased to have me holding him...
BJL_Hen: He perked up a lot once Diane gave him something to eat and she held him.
BJL_Hen: I took this picture but Diane didn't think it would look good if the Christopher had his pacifier in his mouth. Paul pulled it out and I gave it another shot.
BJL_Hen: Of course my inept photo skills still managed to botch the shot...but here they are Diane, Christopher, and Paul. Paul's a pretty cool guy...he's super laid back.
BJL_Hen: I tried to get a shot of the snow that started to fall...but it didn't turn out so well...
BJL_Hen: Then it was off to visit my sister and her family. I walked in the back door and snapped this one...Julia doesn't look too happy to see me.
BJL_Hen: Ho ho now we are getting a bit of accumulation...
BJL_Hen: Campbellford is where I grew up...small towns always have "interesting" people. Some are really cool though...like the neighbour who has a huge working snow globe in the yard
BJL_Hen: Did I mention I am one of the dorks...I mean "interesting" people produced from a small town life. Now we're talking...check out that snow...that's my sister Danielle in the background.
BJL_Hen: I was only in Canada for a week but the sun didn't come out enough for my taste...I got only a single sunrise...
BJL_Hen: After about 45 minutes of waiting for the sun to crest the clouds I decided it was time to go...
BJL_Hen: Of course just as I was leaving the sun crested the clouds...
BJL_Hen: Uncle Peter stopped in to say hi. He said he wasn't able to get anything this year when he went deer hunting...he had lots of bad luck
BJL_Hen: Next stop was to see uncle Joe and Aunt Sue...oh yeah Mandy was there too. We yapped for a bit...
BJL_Hen: And when I went to leave...low and behold the ground was covered...
BJL_Hen: So I tried snapping a picture of the falling snow using the night setting of my camera...but it didn't quite turn out how I thought it would.
