MrRob.in: Oops!
MrRob.in: I probably need to sort this.

MrRob.in: Lock House - snagging time
MrRob.in: Lock House - snagging time
MrRob.in: Still not sure how best to use the under stairs area.
MrRob.in: Time to get Donna stripping.
MrRob.in: Window is moving in frame & has cracked plaster (again)
MrRob.in: A few bits of wood trim left to do.
MrRob.in: Lock House - snagging time
MrRob.in: Lock House - leaking pipe ... Flooded drive. B(
MrRob.in: No wonder the door trim wasn't flush with the wall !!
MrRob.in: Horses & Dog winding each other up (as I dig a trench)
MrRob.in: Running away (from scary horse)
MrRob.in: Smells of horse
MrRob.in: Most of the way there (trench is for water for shed & campervan)
MrRob.in: No insulation material had been inserted between second bedroom & wc!! Noisy & smelly unless gap is filled with expanding foam. In fact you could see light from wc from bedroom.
MrRob.in: As per the second bedroom these trim pieces are held by friction & two nails.
MrRob.in: 20141106-161433-3
MrRob.in: Why the two holes? Nb the wood to the right is only held in place by friction & the two nails in the face of the next bit.
MrRob.in: Is it cheese or wood? (Only 1 hole had a screw in it)
MrRob.in: Yet another area that wasn't re-pointed correctly Again it's failed because it's a top level brick with not enough of the old pointing removed & debris left in the joint preventing the new mortar bonding.
MrRob.in: This interesting solution, tucked in behind the kitchen to living room door trim (I guess to prevent dust as debris escaping from behind that is easier than cleaning it out & filling with foam)
MrRob.in: Faster to replace this properly than try sanding all this filler away!
MrRob.in: Clear instructions were NOT to use filler (other than screw hole for the concrete screws but only if we gave the go ahead after seeing them).
MrRob.in: The gap between doorframe & wall (after I cleaned out debris from when plaster was removed) access to re-point was a little tight but ought to have been attempted (I've since had a go here)
MrRob.in: Again Not sure why this wood is here at all. (Notice the skirting board below)
MrRob.in: I've NEVER seen cardboard used as a building material before Probably because it is the perfect food for rot. Here it was used to pack the skirting board. NB there is no damp proof course so this area will be whicking moisture from the ground floor slab &
MrRob.in: A piece of old slat from the original lime plaster. Rather than it being removed it had a bit of wood nailed over it (above the door architrave)
MrRob.in: This piece of skirting was just wedged in position.
