It's starting to look like a jacket! Hood, collar and pockets all attached Now to sew the side and arm seams but we have to take a break to go out for a curry. Boooo! More tomorrow although there's still a lot left to do. Need more sewing time!

Here's the hamster mansion - meant to be a rat cage but the little man loves to climb. He also loves to make epic beds - he pulls all his bedding into a corner user the platform. He's gotten quite big too with all the space!

It needs a press, but I've successfully inserted my first invisible zip using my shiny new invisible zip foot!

#sewaholic #gabriola number two is almost finished! It just needs hemming now. Much happier with this one - successfully added my first invisible zip and French seams most seams. Still not perfect but definitely better!

We bought a new, bigger Expedit for the studio. Finally putting stuff in it - need to get some more drawers and another glass cube but getting there. Need to install some cup hooks to hang spindles from too.

Bought a load of A4 wallets to store my sewing patterns in. They fit the pattern, instructions with my traced copy behind them all in one easy package. Organisation geek is happy (although now needs to refold all her tracings!)
