brief periods traversing on day 1, but mostly a long hot path down to the bottom of the canyon. Our lodge at Llahuar had thermal pools and super friendly hosts.

Day two (Llahuar to Sagalle oasis) we climbed over 600m, before traversing the canyon side and down to the bottom again. In the shade early on, then baking through the mid morning sun. We followed the new road for a bit. Views were alright.
