Today, I went out on the Island Line to try out the 484s which entered service last week. Here's a video of 484003 arriving at Ryde Pier Head after completing a journey from Shanklin. - 9th November 2021

At the moment the Island Line is running a hourly service which connects to the Fastcat. 484003 is waiting time at Ryde Pier Head while the driver swaps ends. There are plans to make it a 30 minute service by spring 2022. - 9th November 2021

Island Line 484003 is seen at Shanklin Station having completed a journey from Ryde Pier Head. These 484s are very good trains, very comfortable and considerably more smoother than the 483s. - 9th November 2021

Island Line 484002 is the only unit not to be used in public service so far (excluding 484005). It's seen here outside the depot at St John's Station. 484001 can be seen just behind it. - 9th November 2021

Former Island Line 483008 is seen in storage behind Sandown Station prior to leaving the Island for North Wales at the end of the month. It's been covered in tarpaulin to prevent further vandalism. - 9th November 2021

Island Line 484001 is seen at Ryde Esplanade Station while on route to Ryde Pier Head. 484001 was the first of the 484s to be delivered to the island in November 2020 - 26th February 2022

Island Line 484001 is seen heading down Ryde Pier. The Pier recently underwent structural and cosmetic repairs as well as the old tram lines being made into a walkway for pedestrians. - 26th February 2022
