Winter colour These bright orange toadstools stood out among the mulch at the local park when I visited this week. I only went with the intention of bird photography and didn't have my macro lens with me but managed to get a shot to share anyway. +F

Cauliflower anyone? This fascinating fungal growth developed on the palm tree mulch in my garden. I had seen a few others but didn't see the beginning with this amazing pattern, just a blob. This is a handheld in-camera HDR in my Olympus OMD E-M. #Ye
