And another seal. They were everywhere, at one point we all just stopped paddling, there were seals all around us!

They're always very curious about the kayaks but this one came up a little closer than it liked. Crash dive, sploosh!

Another seal. It was so nice and quiet, perfect seal-watching conditions. Now if I could just bring my Lumix and zoom out on my kayak! Optio just isn't quite zoomy enough.

A little bit before this picture, we'd heard a horn. Look closely - see the cruise ship?

Again, this one was coming down the channel well before we got there, so no trouble at all. It was a very quiet day traffic-wise, too.
