Old Bastrop Highway - no cars, just a huge diamondback rattlesnake that flushed from the side of the road after some prey and went straight towards me. Fortunately, he turned back!

So many sights I didn't capture due to the heat - when you stop it's nothing but streams of sweat coming off you - had to grab this one though!

Huber Airpark - nice little airfield and source of some hospitality when I was out of water and was given a nice refill of cold water in the open hangar in this photo. Thanks to some nice folks there!
