Go past the brown cabin OR you can start your hike from here. This is an alternate route that I didn't take. If still driving be sure to stay right after the cabin. The parking area is close by.

The un-named waterfall that you see from the parking area. Look for the trail on the left side as you drive in.

Now you are on the peninsula area between both waterfalls. This is the top of the un-named waterfall.

Looking back at Mystic Falls as I hike to the north end of the peninsula to hike down the steep trail into the gorge.

At the bottom of the trail, hook to the left to hike up the gorge. You are greeted by this fantastic view.

I was in the gorge for a while and the sunlight kept shifting. This later light was better, I think.
