shibuisue: Be sure you have some deep sand driving skills if taking "V" Road to the Cosmic Ashtray. Also be sure that Harris Wash is dry.
shibuisue: Don't go up the steep southeast side like we did. Aim for the saddle, it's easier. That's the saddle over there.
shibuisue: We hiked around to the saddle and got the classic view of the Cosmic Ashtray.

shibuisue: Our rope was anchored to a very sturdy bush just on the backside of the saddle. Bushes on the frontside weren't very strong. Those are our backpacks up on the saddle.
