Two days of training before the climb just to refresh and learn to work as a team with our Exum guide.

Both mornings we took a ferry across Jenny Lake to the local crag, that's our guide in the green.

High camp on the saddle at 11,600 feet. I think that's Teepee Pillar in the background.

16 of us slept in this shelter. It had a loft. There were several groups climbing, taking different routes. The guides slept outside in tents or between boulders.

Tomorrow"s hike to the Black Wall and beyond. We did most of this before or as the sun was coming up.

There were a few other people on the summit from another group. We were not alone. Lots of smoke from a nearby forest fire filled the air. One of those lakes is Jenny Lake.
