opschief136: Otto Erler, USMC, this is a picture of Otto in 1939 when he was on China Station...He was in the Philippines when the War started on Dec. 8, 1941 and was a member of I Company, 3rd. Bn., 4th Marines...he was captured by the Japs in May 1942 on Corregidor.
