petefreeman75:
Walking the "motorway" across the scars - a lot quicker walking thn across the boulder strewn cliff base safer too as long as you watch were every foot is placed, the pink seaweed was good footing, the bladderwrack very slippy
petefreeman75:
Little squashed ammonites - no point trying to get them out they're far too friable, even if you get a chunk, if it dries out, it falls apart

10.47am
petefreeman75:
An hour later - after our lunch - 11.49
petefreeman75:
12 noon back down the ladder to the beach, can't leave it too long or the tide will catch us
petefreeman75:
13.06 took about an hour this time, the sea was in further than I liked, had us close to the cliff in many places, with its constant danger of rock falls - big or small, all it takes is one rock to the head_/\_/\_/\________________________
petefreeman75:
13.24 nice to sit & watch the boats go by untill the rain comes again
petefreeman75:
14.00 another shower passed, opps here's another, well tides in might as well snooze for a bit
petefreeman75:
16.23 Rains finished, high tide has passed so my friend is going rock collecting
petefreeman75:
Close to the edge, worst in the night when you can hear the waves crashing into the cliff below, kept imagining that I was slipping into the sea, only told my friend before we left, the next day
petefreeman75:
Close to the edge
petefreeman75:
Room for more behind us
