SewLibra: The back waist length was 2 in. too long for me, I'm short waisted, so I folded out 2 in. on all 3 bodice pieces.
SewLibra: Even though I used the 2-piece sleeve, I went ahead and folded out one inch of the sleeve cap of the other sleeve option, so it's done if I use the pattern again. It's rare for me to make a Big 4 pattern that does not have to have this adjustment done.
SewLibra: For the 2-piece sleeve version, I folded out the one inch from the bottom piece above the notches. Always preserve your notches if possible!
SewLibra: I used a French curve to true the armscye curve.
SewLibra: Here are both pieces of the 2-piece sleeve with the modification done.
SewLibra: Shortening the sleeve cap only does not change the length that ends up at your wrist. The adjustment for the cap is above the armscye. Here is the lengthen or shorten line if needed though.
SewLibra: I stabilzed the shoulder seams with Design Plus straight (not bias) stay tape.
SewLibra: I tapered from 5/8 in. at the armscye to 1/4" on down for all 4 seams. It fits much better than the red sleeves version that was too tight.
SewLibra: The shoulder zipper makes it so much easier to get this dress on and off. The neck hole is VERY small. I made a separate album here on Flickr for the zipper tutorial if you're interested.
SewLibra: Shoulder zipper closed. I made a tutorial for this in a separate album on Flickr, if you're interested.

SewLibra: Back. Since I shortened the bodice, most of the back wrinkles are gone. This is an awkward pic, but I don't feel like putting it on again for one photo. Lol.
SewLibra: After I sewed on the first sleeve and tried it on, I looked in the mirror and thought, "Oh crap, does this look like Spiderman?" Umm...yes, I think it does unfortunately. I made this mask in 10 minutes. Ha!
