SewLibra: I added 5/8 in. at the lengthen line on both views, plus made View A the longer version like View B. One is a V- neck and the other a rounded neckline.
SewLibra: To make curved stabilizing strips from fusible interfacing, first fold and pin to keep the layers together.
SewLibra: Cut along the curve of the armscye or neckline. I cut a little longer in case my fabric had stretched since it was cut on the bias.
SewLibra: Remove the pattern and mark 3/8" away on the length of the cut.
SewLibra: Follow your dots, easiest with a rotary cutter.
SewLibra: It makes both sides since you doubled your interfacing.
SewLibra: For the front armscye, you can use your actual fabric with darts already sewn since they are sewn from the armscye.
SewLibra: Bias strips fused to the neckline and armhole edges. EDIT: Four years later here and since this review I've used Pellon Knit 'n Stable fusible tape. So much easier!
SewLibra: When pressing the bias strips to inside, be sure to bring the seamline to the inside for a neater look on the front.
SewLibra: The French seams made it a little bulky under the arm, but I machine tacked it down. It looks better than serger stitching right there. The bias strips are sewn before the side seams, which I really don't like and rarely do.
SewLibra: Front
SewLibra: The armscyes are good due the alteration I did on the previous version.
