SewLibra: I used black stretch interfacing as a stablizer on the inside pockets before topstitching the design.
SewLibra: Determine the center of the pockets before drawing on the design.
SewLibra: I used a white fabric marker and a protractor for the pocket design.
SewLibra: Using a pressing ham for curved seams. The seams have to be pressed in one direction before topstitching.
SewLibra: Using the edge foot on my Bernina for topstitching.
SewLibra: I had so much trouble with the second row of topstitching at the bottom of the fly! Ripped it out numerous times. This foot gave me the most control.
SewLibra: Don't butt up the elastic to the foldline. Leave a slight space for the fold itself, or the edge can roll.
SewLibra: Using a zig zag for the elastic. This pattern has a sleek method for a smooth waistband. From the outside you can't tell there is elastic in them.
SewLibra: I serged the inside seams and used black in the bobbin while topstitching so the inside looks good!
