SewLibra: Sometimes my grocery store has small lobsters on sale for $5 each, limit 4. Split the shells, loosen the meat, pull up the meat leaving attached at the tail, coat with garlic butter, sprinkle paprika, and bake at 350 for 15 - 20 minutes. So good!
SewLibra: Lobster tails plated. Dec. 2014

SewLibra: His specialty - perfect eggs for breakfast. All with a smile, too!
SewLibra: Thin sliced pork tenderloin.
SewLibra: Crusty Italian chicken drumsticks. Make a paste of 1 tbsp water, 2 tbsp oil and 1 package of Good Seasons Italian dressing mix. Brush on chicken and bake at 375.
SewLibra: Brown gravy from roast drippings, crushed rosemary, seasoned pepper, cornstarch and a bit of Bisto for a rich color.
SewLibra: Tender pot roast, carrots and gravy open faced over broiled garlin ciabatta bread.
SewLibra: 170 degrees for pork. Gotta love these digital thermometers.
SewLibra: Red potatoes and shallots tossed with salt, seasoned pepper, garlic powder, fresh ground Italian seasonings and olive oil.
SewLibra: Bake in 400 degree oven, turning over halfway, till crispy.
SewLibra: The upside to the chore of grocery shopping - fresh fruit and vegetables!
SewLibra: Quesadillas with leftover chuck roast.
SewLibra: Lumpia. Brown ground beef, salt, pepper and garlic. Then add a small bag of frozen mixed veggies. Keep on heat only until veggies become warm. Don't overcook or the veggies will get too mushy.
SewLibra: These are good for lumpia. No dry lima beans or green beans that poke holes in the wrappers.
SewLibra: Drain thoroughly and cool.
SewLibra: This is my set-up to work from left to right.
SewLibra: Separate each wrapper and keep the stack moist between damp paper towels.
SewLibra: I use a small ice cream scooper for the mixture.
SewLibra: Start wrapping like an envelope.
SewLibra: Roll, and moisten the point with water to stick it down. Some use egg, I prefer water.
SewLibra: Bag as you go and freeze. My rolling is not pretty like the experts! They taste good though.
SewLibra: Lumpia. All that rolling is a pain, but worth it! Oct. 2014.
SewLibra: For lumpia dipping, we like wasabi and soy sauce. NOT the stuff in a tube though!
SewLibra: This little Webber propane BBQ is the best we've had, and we have been through a few.
SewLibra: Use a dry rub on pork loin ribs, aka babyback, slow cook in a crock pot, then brush on your favorite BBQ sauce as soon as it hits the grill.
SewLibra: London Broil cooked on the BBQ.
SewLibra: Fresh green beans cooked with bacon and lemon pepper seasoning. My grandmother and mom always cooked them with bacon, I added the lemon pepper.
