PINECRAFT FOOD. Breakfast our first morning in Pinecraft at Yoder's. This is Wilma's meal of fried mush and sausage gravy.

Yoder's Restaurant. Randy had a healthy breakfast of oatmeal. Most mornings Randy would ride his bike to Panera to eat an early breakfast there and would then have a second breakfast with the rest of us later.

PINECRAFT BUSES. Most people get to and from Pinecraft from up north on a bus. This group is waiting to load their belongings on the bus to head back home.

I was in Sarasota for 2 weeks in March 2013 visiting my aunt Wilma, who spends the winter months in Pinecraft, an Amish settlement located within Sarasota. Here's a charmingly addressed letter she received while I was there.

Bus arrival is a major social event in Pinecraft. Everyone gathers in the Tourist Mennonite Church parking lot, where buses arrive and depart. The Church is located behind Wilma's house.

PINECRAFT PARK. The busiest street in Pinecraft is Fry Street, which leads to the park.

Check out the clothes pin bag made from child's clothing hanging on the right side of the clothesline. I've seen several of these in Pinecraft.
