The garden tiger moth or great tiger moth, Palmers Green, London. The moth is seen with folded wings. Only one of its pair of feelers can be seen.

It's the moth in the kitchen season. Apparently, this is a Tiger Moth (but I thought a Tiger Moth was an aeroplane).
