John Stein 2011: CORONATION built by North British in 1953 works No.27097 withdrawn in June 1978 now preserved. This was the first standard gauge diesel at Shelton.
John Stein 2011: Ruston & Hornsby 242915 of 1946. Built originally for 2' 0" gauge and rebuilt for standard gauge around 1950 was used by the Permanent Way Department at Shelton Steelworks.
John Stein 2011: LION was built by North British in 1957 works No. 27657. In June 1979 she was transferred to Monks Hall Works at Warrington.
John Stein 2011: JANUS built in 1960 by the Yorkshire Engine Company works No.2772. Two others of the same type ATLAS and LUDSTONE joined her at Shelton in 1961 and 1962.
