Just East of Brian Head Ski Resort, 10K + Feet, but Sunny, no Wind, and no Traffic. Nice!

Highway 12, Just East of Tropic, Utah. Very little traffic in April for the entire route.

Very Steep Grade between Escalante and Boulder Town. I saw this and thought to myself, "You have to be kidding!"

Boulder, UT Motels; there are two. One is a 5 star resort and in April, 2022, it ran upwards of 300 a night. This one, Circle Cliffs Motel, was 75. My kinda place... (more >>> below)

Bottom (so southern end) of Long Canyon, East of Boulder. There is a seasonal creek which carved this canyon that starts maybe 10 miles away towards the top of the screen (so to the north). You drop down, then cycle up / to the north.

Top of the Burr Switchbacks, Burr Trail, East of Boulder, UT with the Old Henry Mountains in the Background. I was here in 2019, but from the other direction. Nice area.

Very Windy Wild Camp "Near" Capital Reef National Park. (Technically, you can't wild camp here- ha)

Factory Butte, Just North of Scenic Byway 24 on Factory Road. Very scenic section for the next 2 days.

Northern End of Factory Road... The road parallels the Capital Reef for dozens of miles. Colorado Plateau Geology.

Goblin Valley - as much water as needed at the Visitors Center. For this tour, I opted for a max of 6 liters. 1 L = 1Kg or 2.2 pounds.

Buzzards Belly General Store, Cisco, Utah. Thank God its here... One the few places for water (and beer) between Green River and Fruita, 90 miles apart.

Nice Wild / BLM Camp 15 Miles East and just south of Buzzards Belly General Store, Cisco, Utah. The boulder provided needed wind protection.
