The beautiful day lily contains the heart stopping toxin digitalis. One of my girlfriends when I was younger (Christine) had a tattoo of a day lily on her calf. I ignored the obvious warning and paid the price, lol.

Want a painful and tough climb? Try going up this locust tree. Honey locust thorns are along side of the trunk of the tree seen here while black locust thorns reside only in the branches.

A small tuft of violets with easily identified purple flowers. Leaves are great sprinkled in a salad but not too many or they have a laxative effect. Unless of course you've missed a few servings of your Metamucil. :D
