Turnertower: Crichton Castle
Turnertower: Crichton Castle Kirk
Turnertower: Borthwick Castle - within spitting distance from home. I spy a bike tour of the Lothian castles coming...
Turnertower: Crichton Castle - JUST before it bucketed it down
Turnertower: Hopetoun Tower 132 steps. Beaten to the top by a Spaniel, but had to carry him all the way back down 😆
Turnertower: First thought of course, ooooh I could ride a bike down that 😂🚲🙊
Turnertower: Roslin Castle
Turnertower: Craigmillar castle pano
Turnertower: Ruthven barracks stables
Turnertower: On a lead as we were on Scottish Heritage terms - still kinda weird to not even see any remnant snow on the distant Northern Corries
Turnertower: Lochore Castle
Turnertower: Medieval Mutt - we took the Big Bro castle hunting today
Turnertower: Spanorama - Spaniel panorama and a stroppy Turnip (why choose to drink from dirty puddles when I had a perfectly clean bottle of mineral water for him).
Turnertower: Hanging out in the dark - Gilmerton Cove
Turnertower: Anna - in the chamber that could've been a chapel, a bar, a sacrificial tomb?!? A Blacksmith from centuries ago having a laugh at us 🤔😅
Turnertower: Clearly some kind of masonry/carving was attempted. There was no trace of fire or carbon from burning found in any of the Coves, so despite me thinking it must've been an underground drinking den, that would not make any sense
Turnertower: The Blacksmith who 'discovered' the Cove in the 18th Century tried to convince everyone that he had single-handedly dug it out with one iron pick axe
Turnertower: Anna peering in through one of the many coves, in the er, Cove 😊😂
Turnertower: Anna at 'The Well'
Turnertower: Mind. Yer. Heid
Turnertower: First walkies after work now the clocks have gone back. Think my night snapping needs some work 😂
Turnertower: Drumin Castle
