Turnertower: View across Ballater
Turnertower: Dunnottar Castle. Has been nice being back in the Deen. Wish I'd explored more when I lived up there years ago
Turnertower: Heartbreak Ridge- just before it starts to get pretty vertical off through the trees there. But grippy and GOOD and I'd ride it again in a second right now!
Turnertower: Why does it always look so flat?!? Look at that face. That face says 'oh god tiny roots, slightly steep slope, crappppppp'
Turnertower: Just love this place. And at 8pm too! If only there were a human + bike + dog compatible time travel machine to get me there more often πŸ˜‚πŸΆπŸš΅β€β™€οΈβ›°

Turnertower: Mastermind - frickin awesome, if a bit sloppy at the mo. Shall return in the Spring and challenge myself to stay upright
Turnertower: End to a great three days on the bike: Sunshine, swoopy descents, one flat, another attempt at clippies (still scares the crap out of me on the MTB), finished with sliding sideways through snow and mud today
Turnertower: Up to Clais Fhearnaig
Turnertower: Glen Quioch - which has some awesome riding all in itself. But we were just passing through today. Def need to get over to Deeside more! Still lots to explore
Turnertower: Rods placing bets on where I bail into the heather...
Turnertower: Sadly it wasn’t locked πŸ”’πŸ˜‚ for extra irony
Turnertower: Mastermind, dun dun dun duuuuun....der der
Turnertower: Grippy, endless slabs for days 😍 Even got a β€˜well done’ from a couple walking up the steep bit and then fell off because Rods stopped to say hello to their spaniel right in front of my wheel πŸ˜‚β€β™€οΈπŸΆ
Turnertower: One of the best trail in the UK, def top ten πŸ‘Œ
Turnertower: Bit too hot for him today but we took it easy. Way I see it, I’d rather be out with him at his pace as often as we can, than leave him at home. And it was nice and breezy
Turnertower: Grippy grabby granite for days
Turnertower: Blue and green should never be seen except when it’s a lovely blue sky over a beautiful green pine forest
Turnertower: The bull dozer working a treat today πŸ’ͺ Always over-gunned, ever under-skilled, I say
Turnertower: After about 6 years of losing the plot with what looks like the easiest corner here, FINALLY got this bugger on Mastermind. Might be hero conditions right now, but I’m taking that as completed it πŸ’ͺπŸ˜‚
Turnertower: My little trail dug is doing good. Still need to work on him stopping at what always seems to be the most technical part of a trail. It’s ok Rows, I can always use a little work on my track stands πŸ˜‚
Turnertower: Smellovision required - The Pines smell amazing right now
Turnertower: Ended up on Twisted Sister as Forestry were taking trees out on the trail I was aiming for. Turned out to be steeeheeeep, but ace. Aboyne is the new dogs-do-dahs for off-piste. Borders schmorders
Turnertower: Sheer walls of granite. Great πŸ‘
