Burnside - riding as perfect as can be. Trying to fit in as many laps as I can before autumn turns to slop and then the snow puts us on lock down

This is the difference riding in the Cairngorms makes. Basic tips: bum low, elbows out, bend with the turns, lay off your front brake and always look panic stricken 😂😳 Still sooo much to learn, but ooooh what a summer

Ironically enough I got lost today trying to find a trail called Intellectual Property- what a dumb ass 😂

So today I got schooled in the steeps...just when you think you’re cracking it. NUH 😂😂😂

Went all the way down to Innerleithen- had a chat with some guy who said Burnside has some decent steep stuff too. Came home determined to see what he was chatting about. Yeah...Fair play 😂😳↘️

Nazi Gold (can only assume must be named after how blummin well hidden it is). V steep, techy but a weird one - I managed no dabs down sections I def thought I’d have a stop at; then had major wobbles at parts Id never even glanced at when I walked it?!

I’ve ridden THR a few times now and wasn’t expecting it to still be so dry when I walked it with Rods tonight. Still crazy when you see things from a different angle though 😬😅

The top of the slabby steep stuff at Burnside, didn’t really fell brave enough today. You def need to be on the A game for Burnside and was prob a good call given sheet ice in places. Trails lower down were looking 👌 though
